Angel investors team up to form new joint venture

Two Dutch angel investment firms, Vidoze and CE Tech Invest, have announced to join forces in a new joint venture: Vitulum Ventures. Together they aim to provide seed capital and considerable experience in working in tech companies, to European startups in the fields of internet and mobile.

Vitulum is interested in startups that have progressed beyond idea stage, have a team and a working first version of the product. It looks to invests c. EUR50-100k of seed capital, provided by the 5 angels that back it. Next to capital the firm and its five partners are willing to provide active support and advice to the firms they’re backing, which they’ve termed “mentoring shareholdership”.

Vidoze, one of the firms, was founded by Jaap Visser, Camiel Dobbelaar and Ian Zein and has earlier investments in Earlydoc, Postcron, PastBook and Peerz. CE Tech Invest was founded by
Erwin van der Veen and Chang Ng, who have earlier investments in PastBook, Karma, Poikos, Layergloss, Mr Scoubi, DoctorKinetic, SocialExpress.
