Dutch Beacon Technology startup Fosbury has been acquired by location-based mobile marketing platform Verve Mobile, headquartered in New York City.
“As Verve continues to enhance the in-store retail marketing opportunity for brands, Fosbury’s innovative technology gives us the ability to connect advertisers and consumers in a more personalized manner than ever before”, says said Nada Stirratt, ceo of Verve Mobile.
There were no financial details announced about the deal.
Fosbury’s solution gives advertisers a more comprehensive view of consumer purchase decisions through Verve’s pinpoint location accuracy and real-time, one-to-one mobile marketing.
The iBeacon campaign functionality of the startup allows brands to create customer loyalty and deal-based messages that bridge the gap between mobile and physical retail environments.
The startup, founded by Lucas Tieleman, Martijn de Kuijper and Willem Spruijt was the third ever Dutch startup to make it into TechStars class in 2013.
Can’t wait to see what the guys will come up with next 🙂
