Weekly startup news update: Proforto, eFarmer, Monday morning read

Here’s what happened in the Dutch startup scene last week.

Funding & Updates

Nijmegen based Proforto raised 500.000 euro from informal investors to go abroad. The startup is an online company clothing webshop, which mainly focusses on construction workers and medical professionals.

Fintech startup Daalder received 400.000 euro from VC Keadyn.

eFarmer, the ‘TomTom for tractors’, won the Dutch ticket to the Slush festival in Helsinki. Based in Noordwijk, the startup can measure the position of tractors on the field, so they won’t miss a single spot.

The Dutch startup (2 American co-founders) Red Tulip Systems moved back to The Netherlands and now has its HQ in Amsterdam, after being away for a Startupbootcamp programme in Denmark. The startup offers identity security for government and police officials.
