In January we’ve announced the candidates for the yearly Tech5 awards. Tiqets won the price last year with a sales increase over 2000 precent. And guess what, they won again this year.
Tech5 is about revenue growth, one of the most important things for startups to realise in a short period of time. This therefore is not just another startup competition if you ask me.
Tiqets won Tech5 with rocking numbers last year, specially for a company just four years old. The exact growth percentage for this year hasn’t been stated yet, as Tiqets could be the European winner of the competition as well, but it is said to be even more than last years.
Among the other candidates were:
- Bloomon – flower delivery subscription
- Srps.me – surprise themed trips, destination unknown
- Kobi Digital – lead- and marketing agency based on data
- Bux – an app to make stock trading easy and accessible for everyone
As well as EclecticlQ, Fixico, Owlin, Sendcloud and Vandebron (not ordered by growth).
During The Next Web ConferenceTech5 will be awarded to the fastest growing startup in Europe, where Tiqets compeeds with Deliveroo from the UK, Bragi from Germany and CornerJob from Spain.
