Bleeve raises €600k seed round to help homes get sustainable

Online sustainability platform Bleeve today announced they received a 600.000 euro seed investment from the DOEN Foundation and others. The Amsterdam-based startup makes it easy for users to make their homes more sustainable.

With a few clicksBleeve advices you how to get your home more sustainable – looking for “hidden treasures” of energy saving in the house. It does so by analyzing satellite images and open data sources.

The money will be used for marketing and to further develop the product, CEO Paul Geurts van Kessel told StartupJuncture.

Game changer

“We haven’t seen much of energy savings for home owners on a scale this big. This company has the potential to change this and to become a game changer”, says Alexander van der Have from DOEN in the release.

Bleeve is a Rockstart Smart Energy alumn (class of 2015). Their main investor DOEN recently also took a minority stake in Rockstart.
