Amsterdam-based The Next Ad, an Instagram and Facebook ad campaign startup, has received 1.5 million euro from Dutch VC Newion Investments.
The Next Ad, founded in 2015, will use the money to optimize campaign tools even further. The startup wants to expand internationally as well.
Within a year, The Next Ad got 300 worldwide customers. Among them are Takeaway.com and Catawiki. The company is still exploring which country they should expand to, said marketing executive Oscar Kooij to StartupJuncture.
The Next Ad investment
This growth was one of the reasons for Newion to invest. “Their expontentional growth in the last months confirms the power of the product”, said investment manager Matthijs de Wit.

Facebook Marketing Partner
The startup soon became a Facebook Marketing Partner in the category Ad Technology. According to Kooij this has several pros. “This way, we are close to the source. We know the latest news first and are aware of future developments. Clients benefit from this knowledge.”
