Dutch e-commerce platform CloudSuite received an investment from 5square and existing investors.
The company, founded in 2010 will use the undisclosed round (somewhere between 1 and 5 million euro) to expand to Belgium, France, Germany and the UK.
CloudSuite offers a commerce platform for B2B and B2C environments. It is used by companies like Bruna and Fonq to keep track of their webshop, ranges, prices, stocks, customer data and marketing campaigns.
“Online sales channels are of growing importance to companies”, says Cloudsuite CEO Okko Huisman. “We help them professionalise it.”
Dutch VC firm 5square usually invests in rounds of 1-10 million euro and has previously invested in companies like Bux, Corendon and So WiFi.
