Hackers & Designers Summer Academy

An international group of engineers, programmers, designers and artists will congregate in Amsterdam for a 10 day summer academy hosted by native Amsterdam community Hackers & Designers (H&D). The program is intensive and workshop based and will include additional public components for which also non-summer academy attendees are invited to attend.

About the Summer Academy

This summer, 29 July – 7 August 2015, H&D has broadened their meet-up concept and has invited an international group of ambitious participants for a 10 full-day immersive program of longer, in-depth workshops which focus on learning, researching and discussing all by creating. Students will be representing BE, BG, DE, NL, US, UK, ES, SK, TH, ZA.

About Hackers & Designers

Hackers & Designers is a non-profit cross-disciplinary community of programmers, engineers, designers, and artists. Hackers & Designers began two years ago and has mainly been focused on helping working professionals from tech-oriented fields connect with professionals from the creative sector, and the other way around. Hackers & Designers has, up until this point organized monthly meet-ups where collaborative and inclusive workshops (1-3 hours) are given.
Hackers & Designers is initiated by Anja Groten, James Bryan Graves and Selby Gildemacher.
