How to find the perfect co-founder? If we knew, we wouldn’t be searching for that holy grail in startup matchmaking. UtrechtInc however has a decent format: Meet Your Cofounder. On April 11 there’s an event at coworking space The Garage in Utrecht, aimed at talented entrepreneurs and future startups in e-health, e-learning and e-climate.
For the fifth year in a row TheNextWomen offers ambitious startups the stage of TheNextWomen Summit to pitch their company to an expert jury of investors, press, advisors and other professionals. You can sign up for TheNextWomen Pitch Competition until March 24th, 2017.
Funding
Learning platform for employees Studytube received a growth investment of 2 million euro from Dutch VC Vortex Capital Partners and existing investor Henq Invest.
Online printing company/scale-up Helloprint got a “multi million euro” investment from VCs Bregal and Project A. Last year they raised 3 million euro in series A funding to conquer Europe. The latest investment adds to that growth.
Sustonable, a startup that makes sustainable composite stones from recycled PET materials, got a 350.000 euro investment from regional development fund BOM. The company attended the HighTechXL-accelerator programme and it is said Sustonable has another 250.000 euro coming their way.
Delft-based tech company MOCS this week received funding from InnovationQuarter for both its spinoffs Viktor and Codure.
Rotterdam-based DashTag raised another seed round of 550.000 euro from several Dutch angel investors. With that money the sports stats startup can launch its product in the US.
