Amsterdam-based startup Stream has raised 3 million USD in a round led by North Dakota-based VC firm Arthur Ventures. In addition we’re building up a small marketing and sales effort,” a spokesperson for the company said to tech.eu.
Founded in 2014 by Thierry Schellenbach and Tommaso Barbugli Stream is an API for building, scaling and personalising feeds. The startup currently serves 500 companies, including the likes of Product Hunt, Unsplash, Fabric (part of Google), Bandsintown and Vidyard. Streams’ API powers the feeds for over 200 million end users.
Stream participated in the Techstars NYC accelerator in 2015. Besides in Amsterdam it has an office in Boulder, Colorado.
