Fintech startup Ohpen raises 15 million euro for growth

Ohpen raised 15 million euro to grow their cloudsoftware. Ohpen delivers the cloudsoftware for the administration of investment- and saving accounts for Nationale Nederlanden and Aegon.

Current shareholder Amerborgh invests more

The investment is made by current shareholder Amerborgh, private equity fund of Unique fouder Alex Mulder. With this new investment, Ohpen is valued 100 million euros. Money will be used to expand UK markets and entering new markets. Ohpen recently opened offices in Spain and the UK. The markets there are dominated by English providers who are way behind in quality and innovation. Chris Zadeh, founder and CEO at Ohpen, sees many growth opportunities there. This series B-investment sure should tackle some of his ambitious plans, and he is on a roll in the UK finding new clients.
