Hotelchamp raises €4M in total seed funding

Amsterdam-based startup Hotelchamp secures an additional investment of 2.25 million euro, on top of an earlier 1.75 million investment.

Further growth and extended development of technology

The additional funding round attracted both existing angel investors and fresh blood, angels serving as entrepreneurs within the hospitality and online industry.Prominent investors involved in this round include Nalden, founder of WeTransfer and Phillippe de Knijff and Jolanda Degen of WorldTicketCenter. The seed funding will be used for further company growth. Also the artificial intelligence technology behind Hotelchamp needs greater development.

Technology aggregates more direct bookings

HotelChamp differs from the other platforms using artificial intelligence to deliver a personalised booking experience for guests using their platform and hotels generating greater direct revenue. The startup was founded in 2015 and has signed over 1000 major hotels in 40 different countries and a team of specialist over 50 employees at the moment. Clients are big names like Palazzo Versace and Amsterdam’s Hotel De L’Europe.
